Biography

Ghosthouse 22Antigoni Katsouri, whose origin is from Cyprus, was born and grown up in (Ioannina) and also lived in USA (Washington D.C) and Germany (Tubingen).

Since eight (8) years old she started composing and singing her first songs and at the age of ten (10) years old she was presented as a "miracle-child" in the national T.V. and radio programs in Greece.

Parallel to her vocal studies, she expressed her love for the piano from the beginning and she has been granted the DIPLOMA OF PIANO, with the EXCELLENT GRADE, as well as the DIPLOMA OF LICENTIATESHIP IN PIANOFORTE from the Thames Valley University, London College of Music [EXCELLENT GRADE and distinction - title L.L.C.M.]

Meanwhile she spent time learning other instruments, such as synth, accordion, bouzouki and fife and she attended seminars and lessons in music technology and music therapy, while at the same time she developed her other interests in icon making, painting and drawing, for which she won the FIRST PRIZE in the 37th European Contest.

Apart from her musical studies, she studied in the Faculty of LAW (Law department)  at the University of Athens and today she works as a Solicitor - Notary.

Her musical activity includes concerts and gigs in Greece and abroad, in a wide repertoire, greek and international. She also cooperates with various artists, such as Lakis Papadopoulos, Vasilis Papakonstantinou,  Marios Tokas, Giannis Nikolaou, Vasilis Kazoulis etc.

Her debut CD, titled "OURANIO TOKSO" (=RAINBOW), was released in summer 2009 (by Protasis), receiving media's best feedback.

Then she was featured by Dimitris Mentzelos (Imiskoubria) on his new song "A RE PATERA" (=father), included in his cd, "O raper tis hronias" (= the raper of the year) (by Legend), with the relevant videoclip (June 2011).

In summer 2012 she released her second personal album, titled " ENA HAMOGELO GIA  TO AVRIO " (= A smile for tomorrow) (by Ammos), together with the song "Apokalypse" which is included in this album.

At 18 December 2013 she released by Combalt (ex Universal) her third album, titled " RENDEZ-VOUS", which is a co-production with Lakis Papadopoulos and it involves twelve wonderful french songs of the 60's, written by major composers such as Charles Aznavour, Serge Gainsbourg, Gilbert Becaud, Christophe, Burt Bacharach, Francoise Hardy etc and also of Manos Hatzidakis, with lyrics in french by Marcel Eugene Ageron.
